Membership and Benefits
The purpose of the Jade Society is to help Pacific Symphony open avenues of engagement to the Chinese communities of Orange County. Jade Society members are passionate about and generously supportive of Pacific Symphony’s efforts to build beneficial links and long-term partnerships with the growing number of ethnic Chinese and Chinese Americans in our region.
Jade Society members make a donation of $5,000 annually, or above.
As a member of the Jade Society, you will receive the following benefits:
- An elegant Certificate of Membership and Appreciation
- Exclusive VIP recognition at the annual Lunar New Year Gala
- An invitation to special VIP lunches or dinners with world renowned Chinese visiting guest artists and Pacific Symphony musicians
- Private access to Pacific Symphony Orchestra rehearsals featuring Chinese artists and repertoire
- Engagement in activities related to annual Pacific Symphony Chinese Cultural events including the annual Lantern Festival and other special musical programs
- An invitation to an annual general meeting hosted by the Chinese Communities Leadership Council, which serves at the Executive Committee of the Jade Society
2024 Jade Society Events
- On January 12, Jade Society members will enjoy an intimate lunch with Paul Huang, soloist for the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto performance. This complimentary lunch will be at a restaurant near the concert hall and guests will enjoy an interview with Paul Huang and to participate in a Q&A session with him.
- On February 10, Pacific Symphony will again host a spectacular Lunar New Year celebratory event. Jade Society members will receive special recognition at the dinner and VIP seating at the concert.
- The Jade Society's programming will conclude on April 27 with a special dinner with Shiyeon Sung, guest conductor of Tchaikovsky’s Sixth concert (subject to availability). This event will be at the concert itself and will include complimentary VIP tickets to the concert.
