The arts-X-press nurse is a vital member of our summer arts program staff, providing health care to approximately 70 students and counselors of diverse backgrounds in a residential campus setting. The arts-X-press nurse provides first aid care for students, counselors and staff, oversees the administration of medicine, creates and maintains online records, and works with senior staff and program directors to ensure the overall health and safety of all.

The arts-X-press Visual Art Instructor plays a key role in our summer arts program, teaching two daily visual art workshops to middle school students of diverse abilities. Each workshop includes up to ten students and two high school/college-age mentors. Workshops are designed to encourage creative risk-taking, self-expression, and teamwork while introducing students to fundamental art techniques.

Instructors reside on campus for the duration of their six-day session, participating in excursions, workshops, and community activities. More information about the program is available here.
