OC Can You Play With Us?
OC Can You Play With Us? provides adult avocational musicians opportunities to enhance their playing, learn from professional musicians and connect with each other. Two iterations of the program have been offered: Chamber Edition and the Side-by-Side.
This program is not currently being offered. Contact arts engagement manager, Eileen Regullano at eregullano@pacificsymphony.org to be notified of future events.
OC Can You Play With Us? Chamber Edition
Participants are assigned to a chamber group led by a Pacific Symphony musician or conductor. Each group meets several times to rehearse chamber music selected by their musician leader and performs with their group in the Samueli Theater, home to Pacific Symphony's chamber music series. Participants gain valuable skills in chamber music performance, small-group coaching from a professional musician, and connections with like-minded musicians.

OC Can You Play With Us? Side-by-Side
Avocational musicians come from across Orange County and beyond to play alongside Pacific Symphony on the stage of the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, under the baton of Music Director Carl St.Clair. Participants are paired with a Pacific Symphony musician as their stand partner and receive a behind-the-scenes experience of what it's like to perform in a professional orchestra.
