Alum Opportunities: arts-X-pansion

Arts-X-press alums: are you missing the AXP magic from years past? Join us at arts-X-pansion!

Arts-X-pansion runs alongside arts-X-press at Concordia University Irvine, offered as a five-day arts leadership program.. Alums (ages 12-15) will reunite with their AXP friends and have the opportunity to cultivate their leadership skills through their favorite art forms, explore careers in the arts with professionals, and find ways to help our communities grow using their creative inspiration.

Arts-X-panders will also have the opportunity to channel their artistic visions and develop as leaders in arts leadership workshops. During the Leadership in the Arts workshop, students explore leadership skills within the arts and beyond. The Arts in Action workshop focuses on exploring intersections between arts forms and examines how artists use their art to make positive change in their communities.

Though Arts-X-panders form their own group at arts-X-press, they still take part in arts-X-press traditions, eat meals and participate in group activities with arts-X-pressers, and attend nightly performances, both on and off campus.

Applications for arts-X-pansion 2025 are now available!

Applications are due on March 31, 2025. After the deadline, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.

Applicants for arts-X-pansion must be arts-X-press alums ages 12 – 15.
