Enjoy a live outdoor simulcast of Beethoven’s magnificent Symphony No. 9, projected onto the wall of the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza as it is being performed inside the concert hall by Pacific Symphony and Pacific Chorale. Before the performance, KUSC midday host Alan Chapman will introduce the music, starting at 8 p.m., including the message of brotherhood and humanity in the famous “Ode to Joy.”

Bring your own chair or blanket. Admission is free, but tickets are required.

This event is currently SOLD OUT. Additional tickets may be available on the night of the performance if space is available.


Come early for the food truck "Cool Crafted" featuring Italian Ice, Açai bowls, Chamango, and Gelati (Italian ice + ice cream). George’s Café will also be open on the Plaza. Note: Outside alcohol is not allowed, but drinks may be purchased at the café. Learn more by reading the Plaza Code of Conduct.

Security checkpoints will be in place for admission to the Plaza.
