Goldsberry is best known for her role in the original cast of the Tony-award winning Broadway production of “Hamilton” as Angelica Schuyler. Watch a clip from “Hamilton” here. In an interview on “LIVE with Kelly and Mark,” she revealed how she almost didn’t audition for “Hamilton,” the show that ultimately catapulted her career. She explained how the phenomenon of redirecting her energy to other pursuits seemed to be the key to her big break. She encourages us not to give up on our dreams, because success beyond wildest imagination may be waiting just around the corner. Watch her interview with Kelly Ripa here.

She is a gifted actress in addition to her vocal prowess, her career spanning from Broadway to singing at the White House and 9/11 Memorial, to acting roles in TV and film. In this video, Goldsberry rehearses “Old Friend” from “I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road” at New York City Center. It is just one of many example of her incredible acting and singing talents.

On her role as Wickie Roy in the Peacock TV serial mockumentary Girls5Eva:

I learned from Wickie the audacity to believe that it isn’t too late to have that satisfaction that you made it if you can still dream it and put yourself out there.
