Adam Daruvala

Born and raised in Norco, California, bass-baritone Adam Daruvala is a student, performer, and educator. He is currently in his senior year at California State University, Fullerton, where he is pursuing a degree in Music Education and where he studies voice with critically acclaimed baritone, James Martin Schaefer of the LA Opera. Adam sings in the CSUF University Singers under the direction of Grammy award-winning Dr. Robert Istad and has also performed in a variety of settings; as a section leader and soloist for the Meritage Vocal Arts ensemble, as soloist for Bach Cantata BWV 4 - Christ lag in Todesbanden with the Cantate Chorus of University Hills, and on the operatic stage as Antonio from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with the International Lyric Academy, as Carl Olsen from Kurt Weil’s Street Scene and Seneca from Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea with the CSUF Opera Theatre. Adam currently teaches Elementary and Early Childhood music with the Orange County Children Therapeutic Arts Center. He hopes to continue to expand his teaching career and eventually pursue a M.M. in Vocal Performance.
